Deployment of Delego
The Delego system can be deployed in many different ways owing to the flexible and distributed design. Typically, customers deploy DelegoMT and DelegoSrv on a separate server with network connectivity to the appropriate SAP R/3 systems and the method of communication with the clearinghouse(s). Although the Delego components can be distributed across multiple computing platforms, the application does not require it. DelegoSrv and DelegoMT may be deployed on a single computer connected to your local area network serving the other SAP clients.
Written in Java, Delego supports a number of platforms and operating systems. The factor determining the compatibility of Delego with various operating systems is the availability of SAP's Java Connector (JCo) on which the connection to the SAP products is based and the ability to run version 1.4 or higher of the Java Runtime Engine (JRE).
Delego can connect to any number of SAP R/3 systems simultaneously. Typically, customers connect a development server (DEV), a quality assurance server (QAT) and a production system (PRD) to Delego.
Delego supports the major clearinghouses and therefore, Delego can provide you with connectivity throughout the world. Depending on the clearinghouse's capabilities, Delego will support CVV2/CVC2/CID, Level II, Level III, AVS, Fraud detection, and other features specific to the clearinghouses. The choice of clearinghouse is important. Not all clearinghouses support all features. MEI will assist you in identifying the clearinghouses that best meet your requirements.
Installing and Implementing Delego
MEI offers packaged services that support a customer's implementation. By combining these services with the Delego system, MEI delivers a full turnkey payment card solution. MEI will provide a full statement of work after discussions on scope are held with your team.
Maintaining Delego
Delego was designed and written to require minimal support and maintenance starting with our choice of architecture. That has proven true as our customers can attest to the very limited support that is needed. Nevertheless, our support is designed to protect you with respect to any changes required due to SAP changes in the payment card interface or due to changes required by the processor acquirer. Additionally, we provide updates and upgrades to our Delego components as part of the support plans. We offer a variety of plans, all at better than market rates for software support.
